New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final result of Combined Higher Secondary (10 2) Level Examination exam 2023. The candidates who had appeared for CHSL Tier 1 and 2 exam can check the result on the official website- ssc.gov.in. SSC earlier announced the CHSL Tier 1 result on September 27. As per SSC, 17,495 candidates made it to List-I for LDC/ JSA positions, 745 candidates to List-II for DEO (CAG and DCA), 1,307 candidates to List III for the DEO post (other than CAG and DCA).
Following the Tier 1 result, tier 2 exam was held on November 2, 2023 and January 10, 2024. Accordingly, 14,548 candidates shortlisted for the post of LDC /JSA /JPA appeared in Typing Test of Tier-II and 1,679 candidates shortlisted for the post of DEOs appeared in DEST. “As per Para 17.8 and 17.9 of the Notice of the Examination, Option-cum-preference has been taken online from the candidates who appeared in Tier-II of CHSLE 2023 from 13.02.2024 to 18.02.2024. 11,467 candidates who have submitted their preferences online have been considered for further selection process,” SSC notification mentioned.
A total of 1,211 candidates have been recommended, category wise, UR- 578, OBC- 248, SC- 182, ST- 107, EWS- 96. There are in total 1,211 vacant posts.
The minimum qualifying marks in SSC CHSL exams category-wise are- General- 30 per cent, OBC/ EWS- 25 per cent, other categories- 20 per cent.
