New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) have defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 3 wickets in another last over IPL thriller. 10 runs were needed in the last over and Shimron Hetmyer smashed a six on the third and fifth ball of the over to beat PBKS in the 27th match of the IPL.

Earlier, PBKS posted a 148-run target for the Royals. PBKS batters struggled to deliver big performances with the bat. Avesh Khan and Keshav Maharaj did a brilliant job with the ball and picked up two wickets each. Chasing the target, Tanush Kotian and Yashasvi Jaiswal provided a great start to their team as the duo stitched a 56-run partnership for the first wicket. Rabada got the better of Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. Arshdeep got the wicket of in-form Riyan Parag but Hetmyer showed his class and finished the match in style for Rajasthan Royals.

After the completion of the PBKS vs RR match, there are changes in the orange cap holder list. Virat Kohli remains at the top spot with 319 runs. Riyan Parag is at the second spot with 284 runs and Sanju Samson (264) has taken the third spot from Shubman Gill (255) who moves to the fourth spot.

The Purple Cap holder list sees Yuzvendra Chahal back at the top spot with 11 wickets. MI pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah is on the second spot with 10 wickets and Kagiso Rabada is at the third spot with 9 wickets.
