New Delhi: The wait is over! Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil’s blockbuster film Aavesham has made its digital premiere. The much-talked-about action comedy movie is now available for viewing on an OTT giant. Amazon Prime Video India recently made the highly-anticipated announcement on social media.

The flick can be streamed in more than 240 countries and territories, starting Thursday (May 9, 2024). The announcement has left netizens excited. “One of the best Movies in Malayalam cinema with an outstanding performance by Fahad Faasil,” wrote an Internet user. Another commented, “Watched this in a theatre. Guys, the movie is much more fun than what the trailer promises.”

The storyline of Aavesham is set against the backdrop of Bangalore and revolves around a local kind-hearted gangster, named Ranga. The plot intensifies when three aeronautical engineering students from Kerala come across him. What follows is an entertaining tale of a hilarious turn of events that sparks a comedy of errors and an unlikely friendship.

The Jithu Madhavan directorial was released in theatres on April 11, 2024. It opened to mostly positive reviews from critics. The flick also starred Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, and Roshan Shanavas in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Midhutty, Sajin Gopu and Mansoor Ali Khan with their captivating performances took the entertainment quotient up a notch.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Aavesham has raked in almost Rs 150 crore so far globally. It was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 30 crore. You will be amazed to know that the film is still performing decently in theatres.
