New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals match at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday saw Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in attendance in the stands. King Khan, as he is popularly known, ensures his presence in almost all the matches of his team KKR, where he acts as motivation resource for the team with his starry presence while enjoying the match at the same time.

Known for his sweet gestures off and on the field, the Bollywood star was seen in another heartwarming gesture which caught the attention of the users and all the fans on social media. SRK was seen hugging legendary India women’s cricket player Jhulan Goswami, who was also present in the stands for the battle between KKR and RR. As soon as there was an eye contact between the two, Goswami walked upto the actor with folded hands and the superstar reciprocated with a warn hug.

Meanwhile, batting first, the hosts set the Eden Gardens stadium on fire with their first innings score of 223 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Sunil Narine emerged as the star in KKR’s batting as he sashed his maiden IPL ton (109 off 56) to the set the show for the hosts. His fiery knock was powered with as many as 13 boundaries and 6 massive sixes as the KKR batter looked unstoppable in his approach.

While Narine did the majority of the scoring for the team with a blistering ton, Angkrish Raghuvanshi too chipped in with 30 runs to add to the total. Meanwhile, towards the death overs, Rinku Singh played a 9-ball 20-run cameo to end the proceedings for the team in style. For RR, Kuldeep Sen and Avesh Khan picked two wickets apiece while Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal also chipped in with a wicket each.
