New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders showcased absolute carnage with the bat in Vizag as they smashed the second-highest total in Indian Premier League which powered them to a massive win over Delhi Capitals on Wednesday. Sunil Narine and Andre Russell produced scintillating knocks while young gun Angkrish Raghuvansh also smashed a half-century as KKR scored 272/7 in the 20 overs.

Chasing an improbable score, Delhi Capitals never look on the track as they had a very humble beginning losing four wickets quickly. In the middle stages, skipper Rishabh Pant and Tristan Stubbs produced a well-crafted partnership, slamming half-centuries but it was not enough to help the side cross the finish line. The Capitals could not tolerate the pressure of the mammoth score put up by Knight Riders and faltered in their chase ending the inning on 166 in 17.2 overs.
