New Delhi: Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan played two crucial cameos to help Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals by 3 wickets, ending their unbeaten streak in the Indian Premier League 2024. Chasing 197 for a win, Gujarat rode on skipper Shubman Gill’s classic half-century (72) and Sai Sudharsan’s 35-run knock to set the base for Gujarat.

The leftover was taken care by Rashid and Tewatia in the final two overs as they snatched the win from the hands of Royals in what appeared to a clash going in favour of the hosts in Jaipur. Kuldeep Sen emerged as the pick of the bowlers for RR as picked up 3 wickets while Yuzvendra Chahal picked two to climb atop the list of Purple Cap holders with 10 wickets.

Earlier, in the first innings, Riyan Parag smashed 76 runs while skipper Sanju Samson remained unbeaten on 68 as the duo propelled Royals to 196/3 in the stipulated 20 overs. For the Titans, Umesh Yadav, Rashid and Mohit Sharm picked a wicket apiece.

RCB star batter Virat Kohli maintains the top spot in the Orange Cap holder list with 316 runs to his name. Meanwhile, Riyan Parag takes the second spot with 261 runs while GT skipper Shubman Gill is on the third position with 255 runs.

Yuzvendra Chahal picked up two wickets in the his 150th IPL match to go atop the Purple Cap holder list with 10 wickets to his name. Mustafizur Rahman is second on the list with 9 wickets for CSK while Arshdeep Singh is placed third with 8 wickets. Mohit Sharma, who picked a wicket in RR vs GT clash, climbs to fourth spot with 8 wickets.
