KARACHI –. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly hot and dry weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh on Eid-ul-Fitr.

As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave will likely enter the upper parts of the country on Wednesday evening/night.

Under these conditions, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of the province on Tuesday night, Wednesday (Eid day) and Thursday.

Karachi’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 37-39 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 36-38 C on Thursday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 40-42 C on Wednesday and 41-43 C on Thursday.

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours. Nawabshah remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature reached 43 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 24 per cent.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 38 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 20 per cent.

In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 41 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 18 per cent.
