Sara Davies broke down in tears as the toll of taking part in a gruelling Arctic expedition for Comic Relief took its toll on her and she was concerned she'd let her team mates down.

County Durham star Sara known to millions as being one of the Dragons on BBC's Dragon's Den, joined forces with I'm A Celebrity winner Vicky Pattison, England Lionesses hero turned TV host Alex Scott and ex Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore for the mission, which saw the quartet having to negotiate sub zero temperatures as they embarked on a 50km journey to circumnavigate the Markusfjellet Peak.

Along the way the women had to use different modes of transport to tackle different parts of the route, from fatbikes to skis and it was the skiing part of the expedition which proved to be particularly brutal for Sara, as she struggled to master the technique as she was willed on by the others. Having taking the lead in putting up tents in a snow blizzard, so they all had a bed for the night, Sara did a piece to camera alone, with tears streaming down her face as the frustrations of the day and relentless schedule got to her.

In scenes that moved BBC viewers watching Snow Going Back at home and had them all rooting for her, an emotional Sara remarked: "Not going to lie, it's been a bit of a struggle at times. The skiing is my Achilles heel. I didn't want to whinge, I didn't want to say I was struggling; I felt bad that I was holding everyone else back"

As tears came, Sara continued: "You just don't want to let your teammates down. Anyway, I'm not a bit s**t, I put the tents up. Everyone's got they're alright at and I did that. I just can't do the skiing and tomorrow is skiing all bloody day and I can't walk 10k with skis on my shoulders. So I don't know what I'm going to do."
