Stephen Perry and Archie Stirling, who own Gate Lodge Guest House in Hunstanton, said they’re ready to sell the seven-bedroom guest house, which they have been running as a live-in bed and breakfast since 2008.

The business won a prestigious Visit England ROSE Award last year, which recognised the owners going “above and beyond to provide an unforgettable experience for guests”.

Mr Perry said: “It is now time for us to retire and sadly we have to sell Gate Lodge Guest House, which we have enjoyed running for more than 15 years.”

Although the accommodation is currently only open to guests during the summer, the agent handling the sale said it could be readily turned into a year-round venture.

They added: “This is a charming, high-quality guest house near the centre of Hunstanton which will appeal to many buyers.

“The sale offers an exciting opportunity, which is a credit to the owners who have developed a great reputation for quality service.”
