Six pioneering traction engines, designed by Thetford engineering firm Charles Burrell & Sons, will be among the stars of the steam exhibits.

Visitors can peak at a collection of 'living vans', an early version of the modern caravan, which provided weekly accommodation for labourers.

Several mid-20th century British farming tractors known as 'little grey Fergies' will also be on display.

Popular in the 1950s, these were famously used by explorer Sir Edmund Hillary on his expedition to the Antarctic.

The event will be held over the bank holiday weekend of May 25-27 with gates opening at 9am.
Tickets for the event on the day cost £12.50 for adults or £10 online, with free entry for under 16s.
The price includes parking and entry to the museum.
