Charity, the Fishermen's Mission, will be holding the inaugural National Fishing Remembrance Day on Sunday, May 12.
With 19 services taking place across the country, the East Anglian service will be held in Lowestoft.

A service with prayers, readings and music will be held at the South Pier in Lowestoft on Royal Plain, by the 'Miraculous Catch' sculpture, at 11am for people who would like to join in remembering all the fishermen who have lost their lives at sea.
The service will be led by mission area officer Amanda Wisher, from the Fishermen’s Mission, and supported by Chaplain Julian Wong from Stella Maris.
Mrs Wisher said: "The commemorative service will last around 30 minutes, offering a moment to reflect upon and express gratitude for the local men who perished at sea.

"Fishing stands as an enduring legacy in our community, and it is only fitting that we gather to honour our courageous departed."
It is intended that the service will be held every year with further locations being added as time goes on.
The Fishermen's Mission thanked South Pier Ltd, Lowestoft Town Council and the Lowestoft Longshoremen for their part in the service.
Of the commemoration in Lowestoft, a town council spokesman said: "Lowestoft Town Council are proud to be supporting the marking of the Lowestoft Service of Remembrance as part of the Fishermen's Mission's very first National Fishing Remembrance Day.
"All are welcome to attend this service which is one of many services being organised by the Fishermen's Mission, Stella Maris and The Seafarers' Charity nationwide."
