Henry and Hickory have had a tough start to life which has lead them to Dogs Trust in Snetterton as they look to find some caring new owners.

Not much is known about the history of either 2-year-old Foxhound but the dogs can be worried around people and are looking for new carers who can build up their confidence and restore their trust.

Due to their troubled history, they rely on each other and are much more comfortable when they are together - therefore they would need to be rehomed as a pair.

They have built bonds with their carers at the centre but their new family must be willing to make multiple visits and take things slow with them initially.

A spokesman for the Dogs Trust said: "They both have very sweet personalities, which given time, patience and understanding are bound to shine through in the home."

Their new home should have no other pets or children under 14 years old.
