Bharat Raghu, 73, the founder and director of East Anglia Care Homes Ltd, had been on trial having denied sexual assault of a female who cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Last week Raghu, of Caistor Lane, Caistor St Edmund was found guilty by a Norwich Crown Court jury of the offence which happened on February 8 2022.

The East Anglia Care Homes website states Raghu is "on hand to answer any questions you might have about East Anglia Care Homes in person, over the phone of by email".

The care homes company has two homes, Sutherlands in Wymondham and Halvergate House at North Walsham.

It is understood Sutherlands was named after one of Raghu's favourite sopranos, the late Australian opera singer Dame Joan Sutherland.
