President Joe Biden’s staff’s effort to celebrate his birthday is going viral for all the wrong reasons.

On Monday, the president’s 81st birthday, a post was made on a Joe Biden account on Threads.

It showed Biden sitting at a table, gripping both sides of it, and grinning while his face is illuminated with a red glow from a birthday cake that looks like it is on fire and at risk of burning the building down due to the number of candles.

That could have been a good time for Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) to not know what a fire alarm is.

It is hard not to think about the imagery of the elderly president smiling but also appearing to hold onto the table for dear life as the world is on fire and inflation continues to rage.

For once, we can't blame Jamaal Bowman for pulling the fire alarm. https://t.co/QGuEGA9rj0

Even the X account for Dictionary.com got in the fun, writing, “A ‘flammable’ cake is one that is capable of being set on fire. An ‘inflammable’ cake is one that is capable of being set on fire.”

Despite reported concerns about Biden’s age and ability to do the job, it seems his staff has decided what they should do is really dive into his age.

They like to make him out to be some elderly but hip superhero president who shoots lasers out of his eyes, in light of the “Dark Brandon” memes, who is more vivacious than 40-year-olds — despite all available evidence.

The Biden we see on a near-daily basis, butchering speeches and causing concern he could seriously fall as he shuffles around, simply does not match up to the myth his staff wants us to believe.

And when you set an inferno in front of the president to lean into his age, and the image goes so viral even a dictionary is getting in on the joke you’ve probably gone too far.

“It was a really rough year.”

“Americans collectively going to spend about $1.2 billion less on gasoline from Monday through Sunday from last year.”

“That’s what grandmas do…feed everyone.”
