New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 1 run in the last over thriller in the 50th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a brilliant last over and defended 12 runs. He also took two wickets in the first over and dismissed Buttler and Samson on a golden duck. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 67 runs off 40 balls and Riyan Parag also scored 77 runs off 49 balls.

Earlier, SRH scored 201 runs in the 20 overs. Sunrisers lost two wickets in the powerplay. Travis Head along with Nitish Reddy stitched a 96-run partnership. Head was dismissed by Avesh Khan on 58 runs. Nitish had a 70-run partnership with Klaasen in the death overs. Nitish struck 76* runs off 42 balls with eight maximums and three fours.

After the completion of the SRH vs RR clash, There are changes in the Orange Cap holder list. Ruturaj Gaikwad remains at the top spot with 509 runs. Virat Kohli is at the second spot with 500 runs. Riyan Parag comes in at fourth spot with 409 runs.

The Purple Cap holder list also sees changes after the completion of the SRH vs RR clash. T Natarajan (15 wickets) replaces Jasprit Bumrah (14 wickets) at the top spot. Mustafizur Rahman is at the third spot with 14 wickets.
