Visby, Gotland, Sweden: Bibi, cease and desist your endless war on Gaza and its people! Stop military killings of innocent men, women, and children, journalists, humanitarian workers, and even Israeli troops! Enough!

Yes, the Hamas terror attack of last October was a horrible tragedy for Israel, as well as a massive failure of Israeli intelligence, which had advance warning of it. Yes, the world applauded your immediate and forceful initial response. But in the months since, your endless escalation, done in part to shore up your attempt to remain in office despite your prior misconduct, has not succeeded in rooting out the bulk of Hamas from Gaza, nor will it. For every alleged terrorist your military kills, 10 more will be recruited by Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, and other terror groups, into whose hands you have played via your excesses. Meanwhile, the families of the remaining hostages receive only lip service from your government and have been made into pawns.

After six months of your war — not really on Hamas, but on Gaza itself, including your threats to go into that part of Gaza that you encouraged Gazans to flee to — even America, Israel´s historic ally, along with the United Nations and nearly all of the world’s nations, have utterly lost faith in your government’s limits and your judgment.

You have forgotten a Passover message: While oppression is unacceptable, wanton destruction is intolerable and only defeats itself. The 10 Passover plagues prove that point. The Lord´s slaying of the first-born of Egypt came only reluctantly after the lesser plagues had proven insufficient to free the people of Israel. You have become the great slayer of Gazans, Bibi. Cease, desist — stop! Eugene Elander, 1983-1994 regional director, Development Corp. for Israel

Montebello, N.Y.: Voicer Lester Simon says that Donald Trump is an antisemite for saying Jews who support Democrats hate Israel and their religion. How is that supposed to work? How can Jews supporting Islamists who want to mass murder them not be self-hating? Also, if Simon has any knowledge of Republicans who are neo-Nazi sewer rats, he should call them out by name. The Democrats have neo-Nazi sewer rats in their ranks named Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley. Wallington Simpson

Milford, Pa.: Now that the city can lower the speed limits, I wonder how much more money the city can make with speed cameras. Or will it be like the last time the city lowered speed limits? No one was told and thousands of drivers got hit with summonses. Secondly, how about an educational campaign to get pedestrians off their phones while they walk? Safety works both ways. Robert K. Greco

Manhattan: I heard on the news the other day / that affordable housing / was on the way. / No more will you have / to live in a tent / because you can’t afford / the rent. / Your wait is over / your time is due. / Three bedrooms and a / river view. / Are lotteries and vouchers / Heaven sent? / Because they will help you / pay the rent. / Is affordable housing just / a name? / Some seem to think that it’s / only a game. / Every year the promises / are made / as the pols come and go / their promises fade. / Keep your dream / do not relent / but as a fallback measure / hold on to your tent. Beverly Cheatham

Tamarac, Fla.: Does the Daily News know there are two baseball teams in N.Y.? A back-page spread and a two-page spread on the Yankees, none on the Mets! Gene Tracy

Huntington Station, L.I.: This is a long overdue thank you to Kristian Winfield for the great season coverage of our Knicks. I look forward to his insight and critiques of the games. Go New York, go New York, go New York — go! Nancy Macri Kennedy

Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.: I love the in-depth coverage as the Knicks begin their playoff run. But you know who else is in the playoffs? The Rangers (and the Islanders), but not a single story about either. Just pathetic. Glenn Simpson

Whitestone: We have a world with two kinds of people — the ones who expect to be served all the time and those who always do the serving for others. Which one are you? Do you put yourself first or do you care about others? I know I sleep well at night. I pray that you do, too. Sally DeFelice

Manhattan: Does state Attorney General Letitia James believe that her prosecution — persecution? — of Donald Trump is what the people of New York want? Claiming fraud regarding property valuation (a notoriously subjective process, as all developers can tell you) when there were no victims, and for which the judge (no jury!) imposed a half-a-billion-dollar penalty. Now she wants Trump’s bond revoked so that she can seize his properties! With no victims, where would this booty go? To disappear to the state, to be spent heaven knows how? And what happens to the ordinary people staffing these buildings? Will they lose their jobs? This case is unprecedented in how it has bent the law. It discourages businesses from investing in New York and does not benefit citizens (even those who hate Trump). Perhaps it helps Letitia, as her ever-present triumphant smirk suggests. Nancy Brenner

Manhattan: Now that the “hush money” jury has been seated, I think the trial will go rather quickly because after the people present their case, who’s Daffy gonna call to defend him? Eugene Rodriguez

Forest Hills: Now that the first trial of former President Donald J. Trump is underway here in New York City, it certainly doesn’t behoove the presumptive Republican candidate for president (why in God’s name?) in 2024 to ever falsely claim that “Sleepy Joe” fell asleep on his watch, since this potential felon was caught napping at his own trial during the first two days. Is he so sleep-deprived that he had to fall asleep in the courtroom while someone was sketching him? Ron Gersh

Medford, L.I.: I’m reading that the judge in Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial is threatening to throw him in jail if he skips even one day of the proceedings to attend his 18-year-old son’s high school graduation next month. I’ve been trying to follow the various Trump trials and I’ve noticed an unusual phenomenon: The former president is being severely mistreated and disrespected over flimsy charges by prosecutors and district attorneys who act as though they’ll face no consequences for the way they are abusing their power against a man who could very easily recapture the White House and enact immediate retribution against them. What this tells me is that these DAs and prosecutors — Fani Willis, Jack Smith, Leticia James, etc. — have all been given assurances by the Biden White House of a full presidential pardon on Biden’s last day in office, whenever that is. Eugene R. Dunn

Manhattan: Voicer Douglas Weinberg said of Joe Biden’s accomplishments, “As far as I can see, President Biden has none.” With all due respect to your apparent red-hat myopia, I submit the following: 1) Infrastructure program; 2) Climate change legislation; 3) Benefits for burn pit victims; 4) Prescription cost reduction plan for several medications, including insulin; 5) Semiconductor plant development in the U.S.A.; 6) Canceled student debt for many graduates. That’s just a partial list. As for your comment accusing another Voicer of spewing garbage with “ridiculous personal insults.” I suggest you look no further than Trump himself, who is by far the most guilty person I’ve ever seen in terms of doing exactly that, multiple times per day, every day. His sophomoric name-calling and flat-out lying are just two of the many, many qualities that render him utterly incapable of being an effective president. Michael Udolf

Staten Island: Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy said “President Trump” should be president on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Rep. Michael Turner, a Republican of Valencia, Ohio, spoke of the “president’s” statement about a “bloodbath.” Both referred to Trump as president in the present tense. They are two of the many lemmings who blindly follow. Andy LaBarca
