KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather across Sindh during the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave prevails over western parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of the province on Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday.
Dense fog/smog is likely to persist in Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, Kashmore and Padidan during morning and night hours.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 12-14 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature will likely remain between 08-10 C on Monday and Tuesday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Dense fog/smog prevailed in upper districts which disturbed normal vehicular movement on inter and intra-city roads from night to morning.
Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in Sindh where the mercury dropped to 05 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 62 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 13 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 29 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 09 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 48 per cent.
