KARACHI – Parts of Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad received rainfall of varying intensities during the last 24 hours with experts predicting more rains on Sunday evening/night.

According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is affecting most parts of Pakistan. It is likely to prevail during the next 24 hours.

Under these conditions, light rain/drizzle is likely in Karachi, Hyderabad and coastal areas of Sindh on Sunday evening/night.

On Monday and Tuesday, mainly cold and dry weather is expected across Sindh.

Karachi’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 16-18 degrees Celsius on Monday and 13-15 C on Tuesday.

Hyderabad’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 12-14 C on Monday and Tuesday.

Meanwhile, cloudy weather with rains occurred in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Rainfall (mm): Karachi (Faisal Base 75, Airport 51, Masroor Base 47, Jinnah Terminal 42, North Karachi 34, University Road 30, Nazimabad 24, Hyderabad (Airport 17, City 13), Mir Pur Khas 11, Tando Jam 09, Larkana 08, Dadu 07, Shaheed Benazirabad 06, Sakrand, Thatta 04, Chhor, Khairpur, Padidan, Sukkur 03, Rohri, Mohenjodaro 01

Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 09 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 87 per cent.

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 18 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 100 per cent.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 89 per cent.
