Meta-owned instant messaging service WhatsApp continues to add new and exciting features for fans and now the app will allow users to edit pictures with advanced editing tools.

Over time, the messaging platform saw much-needed features like disappearing messages, encrypted cloud backups, and multi-device support, see once privacy, and other features.

To further improve users’ experience, WhatsApp is bringing Artificial Intelligence-supported updates. The new options have been introduced in beta versions of Whatsapp, and will be available for everyone after the trial.

In the latest Android beta release (v2.24.7.13), new features like Backdrop, Restyle, and Expand have been added to the photo editor window.

A sparkle icon has been added at the top row of the editor, offering a new experience to these options. Backdrop allows users to change the background of a picture, Restyle allows for overall image changes, whereas Expand helps in enlarging the picture.

Fans are excited to get their hands on the new editing tools on Whatsapp, the app used by 2 billion users worldwide.
