KARACHI – Rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Wednesday evening/night and Thursday.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over most parts of Balochistan. It will likely grip upper parts of Pakistan on Thursday.
Under the influence of this weather system, partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province on Wednesday evening/night and Thursday. However, rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Dadu, Larkana, Padidan, Qambar Shahdadkot, Mohenjo-Daro, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Hyderabad and Karachi on Wednesday evening/night.
On Thursday, rain-wind/thunderstorms expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Padidan, Qambar Shahdadkot, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Karachi and Thatta.
Karachi’s maximum temperatures will remain between 31-33 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 32-34 C on Friday.
Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures will remain between 34-36 C on Thursday and 35-37 C on Friday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Mithi remained the hottest place in the province where maximum temperature was recorded at 41 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 55 per cent.
In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 36 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 77 per cent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 37 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 44 per cent.
