THE festivity of elections has come to an end. The selection surgery was done with butcher’s knife, not with the surgical scale, now the handicapped homeland will have to suffer more deterioration in the body-structure. The Bo-Peep between the bandits ended. The branded family of fortunes has been seated on the throne once again but with the cries from them that throne is full of thorns. The coronation ceremonial episodes have been completed. The worldwide community of political analysts are of the opinion that Pakistan is the only country where politics is handed down generation to generation.

A report of amnesty international reads, the years for years on end but there is no change in the ground work of formation of the political affairs and setup. Conflicts and controversies are the only business left with parliaments of Pakistan. Extravaganza and many privileges are reduced only to government authorities and political representative, moral values are diminishing foreign loans and monitory helps are dished out only to the relatives and favourites of the government officials and political representatives. That’s why there is no change or better glory delivered to downtrodden people of Pakistan.

The amazing point is that all the groundwork of the formation of the government is depicted in their own Holy Book ‘Quran and Islamic Constitution in details’. The report further reads that many clauses of Islamic constitution have been implemented in the welfare states of Europe and provided their public a very protected and peaceful pattern of life. A welfare state protects the economic and social wellbeing of its citizens; the 3/4 of GDP is spent on social services by government. Generally the citizens of welfare states enjoy free healthcare, long- term unemployment support, liberal vacation times and solid maternity child-care. A welfare state is based on the principles of equal opportunity, equal distribution of wealth and responsibility for those enable to avail.

Tragic enough that all the principles and orders are depicted in their Islamic constitutions but are not practiced by the Muslim rulers specifically in Pakistan. All the rules and regulations are crushed down ruthlessly by the rulers of Pakistan. Greed of power, lust of prestige and money minting is left the singular desire of the rulers. The Ulema of the Pakistan also never inculcate Islamic values, ethics or attitudes in common public of their homeland, which has provided them all the facilities and amenities to promote the Islamic purpose. They are indulged in their selfish motives and interests. They have always considered themselves as the sacred class of the society and avoid mingling themselves with laymen. They have reduced themselves only to the prayers rugs and rituals.

How is the sad situation that after having past the 3/4 of the century Pakistan is still under- developed and being deteriorated in all the spheres. Poverty is not its problem, it is being managed poorly by its managers. We are rich in our natural resources and not in lack of human talent. Our Fulbright scholars are earning a heavy riot of capabilities in offshore. Our full bright scholars have established the capacity to put the tags of the salary of their own choice but they are discouraged and humiliated on their own homeland, their “bad luck”.

Our ruling class is responsible for this brain-drain. Once an Indian institute of social sciences arranged a study tour to Pakistan to see the govt and social level of system. The delegates visited 12 institutions of local councils and social system. They reported that these institutions were providing training to the government officials, the delegates noted that those officials had full awareness and competence for the solutions of the grass route problems of the public but amazing enough that institutions were not given the constitutional cover that is why the institutions became slow and ultimately failed.
