LAHORE – More rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Tuesday evening/night.

As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a trough of westerly wave prevails over upper parts of Pakistan. It will likely persist during the next 12-18 hours.

Under these conditions, more rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Mianwali, Bhakkar and Noorpur Thal on Tuesday evening/night. Gusty winds/windstorms are expected in Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur.

On Wednesday and Thursday, dry weather with gusty winds is expected in most districts of the province. Gusty winds/windstorms are likely in southern districts.

Lahore’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 33-35 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in Lahore and parts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Bahawalpur remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 34 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 25 per cent.

In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 32 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 32 per cent.
