ISLAMABAD – Mainly dry weather with gusty winds is likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan on Wednesday evening/night, Thursday and Friday.

As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, mainly dry weather with gusty winds is likely in the twin cities and most parts of Pakistan on Wednesday evening/night and the following two days. However, partly cloudy weather and rain-wind/thunderstorms are likely in Kashmir and adjoining areas on Wednesday evening/night.

Islamabad’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 30-32 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 33-35 C on Friday.

Rawalpindi’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 30-32 C on Thursday and 33-35 C on Friday.

Meanwhile, rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper/central Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the last 24 hours. Hot and dry weather prevailed elsewhere in the country.

Gilgit Baltistan: Bagrote, Gilgit 02 and Chilas 01

Mithi remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 42 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 14 per cent.

In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 26 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 43 per cent.

In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 25 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 40 per cent.
