That being said since it has been a year, I figured I’d check back and see how the whole “Skynet is going to kill us all” thing was going. Last year, it left something to be desired. With thousands of nerds not kissing thousands of girls for another 365 days, had it gotten any better? You decide.

So, what's the solution to this epidemic of selective outrage? It starts with holding the Left accountable for their hypocrisy and demanding consistency in their principles. We must call out their double standards whenever they rear their ugly heads and refuse to let them dictate the terms of the debate. Only then can we hope to reclaim the moral high ground and build a more just and equitable society for all?

So, while artificial intelligence has made advances and can easily belch out the basics of a news story, just not analysis or humor. All those so-called journalists worried about AI replacing them have reason to worry. Not because AI is so good at what they do but because they are so bad at it.
Liberal reporters are terrible at conveying the basics of an event, feeling a compulsion to insert their opinions and liberal spin. AI doesn’t do that unless asked. It can do what they are supposed to do with ease and without unionizing or embarrassing the employer or institution. Human journalists can’t help but do those things.
AI may start producing more and more news stories, but it isn’t quite ready for much else unless the producers being replaced are wildly unoriginal or completely lazy. In other words, columnists with the ethics and morals of “journalists.” We’ll see what happens next year.
