Last week I was at the store buying groceries and household necessities and grumbling (as usual) about the high prices ($7 for a can of Lysol?!?!? Seriously?). But then I came across something that momentarily made me forget about “greedflation.” It was a can of diced mangos, which I didn’t even know was a thing.

I love mangos and this product will save so much time and mess in preparing mango treats. The first two I plan to make are a smoothie and a cheesecake. They will be very refreshing on Monday when the high temp here is expected to jump to 100 degrees.

Now back to that $7 can of Lysol. Remember during the pandemic when people learned how to make hand sanitizer at home to save money and because the item was in short supply? Can I make Lysol at home? Even better, what about a mango-scented aerosol disinfectant? I’ll get back to you on that.
